Dark, Raw, and Brilliantly Human
Written in Blood by Maddox Cain is one of those rare books that grabs you by the throat from the first page and doesn’t let go until the very last line. It’s haunting, emotional, and deeply psychological — the kind of story that lingers long after you’ve finished reading.
This book was a really good psychological thriller. It becomes hard to put down. David Wells is such a disturbing and interesting character, and the twists kept me guessing. The ending was intense and left me wanting to read the next book.
Dark, twisted, and full of suspense. Born in Blood takes you inside the mind of a character you want to understand but can’t trust. The ending was incredible.
The deeper I got into Born in Blood, the harder it was to put down. David Wells is one of the most complex villains I’ve read in a long time. Excellent sequel.
